For those who don’t know, G-Fest is the annual Godzilla convention held in Chicago. It celebrates all things relating to Japanese science fiction, fantasy, and horror. This is a photographic summary of the events that took place on July 15, 16, and 17th. Special guests were Shinji Higuchi (Gamera Trilogy special effects, co-writer/storyboards for Neon Genesis Evangelion, director of Sinking of Japan), actor Hiroyuki Watanabe (Gamera Trilogy, GMK), and actor Robert Scott Field (android M-11 of Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah).
